I made oreo truffles last night (recipe from the Costco cookbook) and they were SO rich I can't even eat them. Kevin has already eaten 3, that I know of!
the baby was kicking a LOT yesterday, and hard too! As if she was trying to escape. Kevin has felt her kick but he finally got to see my stomach 'jump' from a kick. I read that some women are able to anticipate when the baby is going to kick, and I think sometimes I can but mostly I'm unaware until she starts. She used to have a set time when she would kick, but now there doesn't seem to be any sort of schedule.
At the first ultrasound she was flipping around SO much it was hard for the doctor to get a clear picture. Now she is kicking so much - she must be practicing to be a cheerleader! She is already practicing her tumbling, toe-touches and cheers!
Next Dr appt is February 16 where I will be tested for gestational diabetes and do the regular check up (weight, blood pressure, and length of uterus). Last time I got in trouble because I had gained too much weight. So far, I believe I've gained about 15 pounds during this pregnancy and I am supposed to gain about 25.
I am about to go 'take inventory' of all the clothes and accessories we already have for the baby so I know what I need and what I don't.
