38 weeks and time to evict baby!

Yesterday was another weekly appointment. I was so sad, We were still 1 cm dilated and 70-80% effaced. Nothing changed!! I noticed the Braxton Hicks contractions decreased in frequency, but I was still hoping that things would still be moving along. Apparently they weren't. A family friend told me that right before labor the baby's movements decrease and things seem to slow down, like the calm before a storm. I don't know if that's true but I hope so! I want this baby out NOOOOWWWWW!!! I know it's only 38 weeks but that's close enough for me! My feet are SO swollen that I can't even bend my toes back or point my toes and my feet hurt like they're bruised. I'll post a picture this week. Also I think she has dropped but I'm not sure. She's supposed to drop 2-3 inches but I've been carrying her low the entire pregnancy so I don't know if that would apply to me. I still have reflux, though now that I am typing this I realized it's not as bad as it used to be....breathing is not as bad either. But I can barely walk. I literally have started walking with my knees slightly turned outwards and like I'm trying to carry a watermelon between my legs. I really can't understand how a 7 pound baby can feel so freaking heavy!! My skin has started to itch incredibly bad, it's passed the 'itchy' point even and now is just painful. My Dr told me to put Calamine lotion, cortizone, benadryl cream, aveeno...anything on my skin, to help. Last night I put Calamine lotion on and I think it helped. I was talking to a woman today who went on and on about how much she loved being pregnant. I wanted to punch her. If she liked it that much, she can carry the next ones for me and I'll let her get fat, swollen and itchy because she 'loves' it so much.

I'm exhausted and going to sleep now!
